Provincial rebate : Up to $5,000 is available to B.C. residents on transactions which qualify for the CEV for the B.C. program. The CEV for B.C. program is offered to eligible B.C. residents who purchase or lease a qualifying new battery electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle on or before March 31, 2020. Up to $5,000 will be deducted off the after-tax sticker price. The customer does not need to apply for the rebate. The dealership gives the rebate to the customer at the point-of-sale as a clearly marked line item deducting the rebate amount from the final vehicle price on the bill of sale or lease agreement. The Scrap-it Program is only available to B.C. residents who scrap an eligible vehicle and purchase an eligible electric vehicle.
