    The trailer wire harness module may corrode over time due to climatic conditions. If water enters the module, an internal short can occur, resulting in the loss of the trailer indicator lights and or brake lamps. A loss of the trailer’s indicator lights or brake lamps, increases the risk of a crash.

    If you believe you may own one of these affected components please ask your Kia dealer to arrange for the recall to be conducted.

    Your VIN can be easily seen in the following two locations:
