The Kia Sorento - 'Sturdy both on and off road'

Nov 16, 2012

With a new and sleeker design, the Kia Sorento has still proved itself to be a capable off-road performer. The engine and electrical systems have both demonstrated reliability and coupled with a solid warranty, the Sorento  is sure to avoid falling into 'premature neglect'. When taking this Cross-over SUV off-road it is recommended that you consider the all wheel drive version. This is to ensure top performance when encountering rough terrain, slick road conditions and using the vehicle to tow cargo. With all wheel drive/4X4 models, torque is directed to the front wheels in normal driving conditions and then redirected to the rear wheels once any type of slippage is detected by the computer. Alternatively, there is a mode which allows for power to be split evenly between front and rear axles for better traction in slippery conditions.  + Read More
